1. Visa processing fees
According to the provisions of Romanian Law no. 198, dated from October 27, 2008, republished as subsequently amended, regarding charged consular services and the handling fees levied at the diplomatic missions and consular posts of Romania abroad, the levied consular fees for visa handling, are the following:

The visa handling fees are charged by the Embassy of Romania to the Republic of Azerbaijan only in US Dollars, taking into account the medium exchange rate of the convertible currency towards the EURO of the European Central Bank.
Visa fees charged in accordance with agreements between the EU and third states.
The agreements concluded between the European Union and the following states are in force at present: the Russian Federation, Ukraine, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, the Republic of Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, the Republic of Cape Verde.
The nationals of the states with which the European Union concluded bilateral visa agreements are charged the fees agreed on in such agreements, i.e. EUR 35 or EUR 70, except for the nationals of the Republic of Cape Verde, who are charged the general fee (EUR 60) unless they belong to the categories of third-country nationals exempted from paying the fee.
The Romanian visa is granted free of charge to the nationals of the Republic of Moldova, Serbia and Macedonia, until Romania joins the Schengen Area.
